For the first 2 weeks of the third trimester I thought I was going to escape that tired feeling. Yesterday came around, however, and I felt like I was hit by a truck. I feel asleep in the chair while Addison was running around being noisy. How? Who knows. I'm so tired today too =( Monday marks the 31 week point for this little chicken. It seems like it's flying by, but, taking forever at the same time. It seems like forever since I was experiencing severe morning sickness, but, it doesn't seem like I've been pregnant all that long. I have almost everything ready for baby's arrival! There are just a few minor things left. Part of me is worried that the baby will come while we are on vacation in Delaware next month. Hopefully, it will happen at the end and not the beginning! Worst case scenario, we would have to buy a car seat, some onsies, and a couple blankets. I think we would survive. Actually, worst case scenario baby would be in the NICU and I'd be stuck in Delaware by myself while everyone else had to go home and leave me there for weeks =(
I'm looking forward to an easy summer, just watching my kids and my niece. It hasn't' been stressful having extra kids here all the time, but, I'm ready for a break.
I am beginning to suspect that I am obsessed with money and why we seem to live paycheck to paycheck even though Josh makes a lot of money and we don't pay a mortgage. What do we spend our money on? Could I be spending a lot more than I think on frivolous things like kids clothes? I think it's time to buckle down and go through our finances again and see where the problem is. Eating too much takeout? Going to convenient stores too often? Don't get me wrong, we aren't broke. I am managing to save money every month. My goal is to save up until I have enough to pay off our credit card and still have $1000 in savings. Then start over again and pay something else off. (Payoff bills in order of money owed: 1. Student loan 2. Josh's Xterra 3. credit card 4. student loan 5. other credit card 6. student loan 7. josh's computer 8. my computer - I could pay off the 2 computers now, but, aren't you supposed to pay the highest percentage interest rate first? That would be credit card #1, although paying off the computers would certainly be nice and save $60 a month...) I'm going to wait until we get back to Delaware to put the extra money towards our bills (we are going in a few weeks and I want to make sure we have that money just in case something happens).
At the same time, I really want us to take a trip to Disney next fall and I really need to start saving for that as well. Who knows how much that will cost? Could it cost more than $5000 total? I think it would be cheaper to drive and stay at a hotel, but I have no idea how much we would end up spending on park tickets and food. I really want to take the kids and Josh though. He has never been! I think Addison and Kellen would be a perfect young kids age (5 & 3). They would recognize characters and be excited to go on rids, and be able to ride on the same rides. I don't know why I'm even worrying about this now other than I know we need to start saving for it.
